4TH GRADE

   My name is Jennie Searle and I am a Fourth Grade teacher. I've taught here at Dry Creek Elementary for a few years, some of those in first grade and then in fourth grade. Before that I taught Kindergarten at Eagle Valley Elementary for two years. I completed my Bachelor's Degree at Utah Valley University. I am so excited to continue teaching 4th grade. I love being a part of the learning process and watching students grow throughout the course of a school year and beyond. Teaching is truly my passion and I feel fortunate to be an educator.

   I grew up in American Fork, Utah, where I still currently live. If I could I would live in Disneyland!! Growing up I had 3 older brothers, I am the youngest and the only girl in my family. My family owned and operated an alfalfa (hay) farm. I was lucky enough to help out on the farm as a child. I helped pick apples in our orchard and raise many fun farm animals. In high school I was in FFA and raised sheep, chickens, ducks, geese, and horses. I continue to carry my love for animals because of those opportunities I was given as a child. In fact, my husband and I live less than one block away from my family farm. I am married to the coolest guy in the universe! We spend a lot of time together restoring our classic cars, watching movies, traveling, riding our RZR, and laughing at each other. I can't wait to get to know more about each of you this school year!
